The Story
Founded in 1858, Mr. Kurosawa is the 6th generation of the KUROSAWA brewery, which is located near Mt. Asama. His older brother is one of the brewers, and his younger brother is a chai master (Toji). This sake benefits from the spring water that comes from Mt. Asama.
This sake is spontaneously fermented, no added brewer's alcohol.
Much more expressive than your more traditional sake, but a huge favorite with more traditional wine drinkers. Goes really well with soft and hard cheeses. Has some Fino sherry and white miso notes.
Store Sake, cool and dim, drink within a year.
Opened bottles in the fridge and drink within a week.
