Vermouth made primarily with manzanilla of the historic Angioletti and El Toro wine cellars, both in the neighborhood Alto Sanluqueño.
Inspired by the old reserves of Atamán: quinado wines and old vermouths that have been kept in Bodegas Barbadillo for decades.
Atamán is a vermouth first registered by Bodegas Barbadillo in January 1943. Sometimes we wonder what motivated Manuel Barbadillo to decide on this name at the baptism. We do not have the answer. What we do know is that this Caucasian gentleman, general of the Cossack armies, goes out again today to the world full of character and aromas of wormwood, quassia, bitter orange, rosemary, elderberries.
On the nose it's an explosion of sherry and caramel notes.
