Bunnahabhain 12 Years is an unpeated Islay single malt from the remote Bunnahabhain distillery on the island’s northeast coast. It is matured in a combination of ex bourbon and ex Oloroso sherry casks, giving it both freshness and depth. Over twelve years, the bourbon casks contribute vanilla and gentle oak, while the sherry casks bring dried fruit, toasted nuts and warm spice. Bottled at 46.3 percent ABV without chill filtration, it offers a rounded texture with notes of raisin almond sea salt and soft malt sweetness, finishing long and balanced with a subtle maritime edge.
