Jacob Rieger & Company from Kansas City, Missouri where one of the largest producers of Bourbon in the US pre-prohibition. Founded in 1887 and are today continuing this legacy with a very enjoyable Kansas City Whiskey.
Kansas City Whiskey has been resurrected as its own american whiskey category. This one is a blend of Straight Bourbon, Light Corn Whiskey and Straight Rye Whiskey, all at least 4 year old, and a small amount of 15 year old Oloroso Sherry from William & Humbert bodega in Jerez.
