The 2016 edition of Hazelburn Barolo began its maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by a three-year finish in refill Barolo wine casks. This process yields a whisky that is both sweet and spicy, featuring flavors of dried fruit, raisin, coconut, and a hint of pepper.
